Erin Condren Color Palette in Silhouette

Erin Condren Color Palette in Silhouette

Hello!
Recently I was trying to make some functional stickers for my Erin Condren planner and decided I wanted to make them colorful. I normally just use some washi to add color to my planner and some basic black font stickers.
I wasn't sure if there was a tutorial out there to show how to make a color palette in silhouette with the Erin Condren colors. I tried my best to screenshot as I went along but if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Enjoy!

The first thing you need to do it go to www.erincondren.com and get the color palette.
On the site you will scroll the whole way to the bottom and click on Inspiration Center.

Once on that page you will click on Printables.

Scroll the whole way to the bottom and you will see the color palette.

The palette will open in a second tab. You will right click on it and select save image as. You can save it to your desktop or wherever you will know where it is for the next step.

Now we will go into the Silhouette software. In the program you will click on the color palette on the right hand side of the screen. Under the colors there is a spot that says New Colour Palette Name.

In that box you will type Erin Condren Color Palette.

And click on the + sign to the right of the box you just typed in. That creates the blank palette.

Now we are going to open the file that you saved from the Erin Condren website.
File > Open...

Once you have that file opened we will create a small shape. Doesn't matter what shape or how big. Make sure the shape you created is selected. You will see the dimensions of your shape that is how you know it is selected.

I found this step is easier to do while using a mouse and once you get the hang out it you will be able to do it fairly quickly.

Hold down the CTRL button and you will see your cursor turned into a color dropper. While holding the CTRL button click on one of the colors on the color guide. The shape you have selected will now turn that color.

Once your shape turns that color and while it is still selected go over to your color palette on the right of the screen and press the plus sign that goes with your new palette. You will see in this photo it is teal colored when you hover over it. Continue to do that for all the colors in the palette.
The hardest part of the whole thing was trying to remember which color I was on when my kids distracted me. I hope everyone understands this tutorial and that it was helpful to you. Please comment below if you have any questions or suggestions of other things you would like to see me show here on my blog.

Have an awesome day!
